Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 17, 2026
This policy describes what the Batchet website does with image files and information created while you use it. Image editing is performed locally in your browser.
Operator identity and contact
Batchet is operated by Otari (“we”, “us”, or “the Operator”). For questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, contact us at:

Image files and filenames
Batchet reads selected image files in your browser, creates previews, and uses browser image and Canvas features to make requested exports. The application code does not upload image contents to an Batchet processing server or an image conversion service.
Filenames, image dimensions, and file data are held in page memory while you use the editor. Filenames are used for local output and ZIP names. The application does not save image files, filenames, or image metadata in local storage or send them to an application server. Closing the page ends the editing session; browser memory reclamation is controlled by the browser.
Hosting and infrastructure
Batchet is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical data, such as IP addresses, device identifiers, and request logs, in accordance with Cloudflare's Privacy Policy to provide and secure the hosting service. Batchet's Cloudflare account settings, including analytics and request-log retention, have not been inspected.
The deployed Cloudflare Pages site also includes Cloudflare Web Analytics. The application source does not contain application-managed analytics code, but Cloudflare injects an analytics beacon into the deployed page. Cloudflare describes this service as a way to understand website performance. Its enabled metrics and retention settings have not been checked; confirm those account settings before treating this policy as final. The analytics beacon is separate from image processing; the application processes selected image contents locally in the browser. A link to LinkedIn help describes one suggested canvas size; opening that link sends a request to LinkedIn.
Storage, cookies, and personal information
Batchet uses browser local storage only to remember a theme you selected manually. If you do not choose a theme, the app follows your operating system preference without saving that default. Image files, filenames, and image metadata are not stored there.
The application does not provide accounts, contact forms, or payment features, and its source contains no code that sets cookies or intentionally collects identity details. This does not describe information a hosting provider may receive to serve and secure the website.
Browser and device limitations
Image decoding and export depend on the browser and device. Some input formats may not be supported, animated images may export as a single frame, and large images use device memory while open. Your browser, extensions, device, network, and the hosting provider are outside Batchet's control.
Changes to this policy
This policy should be updated when the application, hosting, storage, or data practices change. Its effective date identifies the current draft; it is not a statement that a legal review has been completed.
